Iwa no Yu

Kasen-An Seni Onsen Iwa no Yu, a hard-to-book legendary inn tucked in the mountains of Suzaka, Nagano. Reservations open on the 1st of each month for 11 months ahead, and all 18 rooms are quickly filled by regulars. The highlight is the famous cave bath 'Sennin no Yu' (mixed-gender) that dates to the Heian period, plus three private open-air baths.
