Ochiairo

Founded in 1874 and registered as a National Tangible Cultural Property, this intimate inn at the confluence of two rivers in Yugashima has only 16 rooms and one annex. It earned a Michelin Key in 2025 and was a retreat for literary giants like Kawabata Yasunari and Dazai Osamu.
