Okyakuya

Founded in 1722, this historic inn at Kurokawa Onsen has a 300-year history. Established as an official lodging of the Higo Hosokawa Domain in the mid-Edo period, it maintains its founding philosophy of 'half-farming, half-innkeeping'. The 13-room inn boasts seven bathing facilities with sodium sulfate-chloride springs rich in metasilicic acid.
