Yufuin Tamanoyu

Founded in 1953 as a Zen temple retreat, this is a celebrated inn at Yufuin Onsen. Its 16 rooms are peacefully set amid a woodland garden 'Mushiya no Niwa'. Every room features a wooden in-room bath with flowing spring water. The mountain-style restaurant 'Budoya' serves thoughtfully prepared local cuisine, and a bar & tea room is also popular.
